PNW Theatre Festival – Frequently Asked Questions

1. WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Fee information is available to Studio Directors only. Please log into your studio account to view rates.

2. DO YOU ACCEPT INDEPENDENT ENTRIES?

Yes- PNW Theatre Festival does accept independent entries. All performers must be registered under an account.

3. WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Payment is required at the point of registration via our online payment system. E-check Credit/debit card.

4. WHEN WILL THE EVENT SCHEDULE BE AVAILABLE?

Teacher Packets, including the full event schedule, studio-specific schedules with entry numbers, facility directions, and other important details, will be available on your account home page about two weeks before the event. You will receive an email notification once they are ready.

Note: Studio-specific schedules will be accessible only once accounts are fully paid.

5. HOW DO I SUBMIT MUSIC?

All music must be uploaded to the Registration Portal by Monday at midnight before the event. A backup USB is required and must be turned in at Studio CheckIn upon arrival at the festival.

6. CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST FOR PERFORMANCE TIME?

Special requests must be submitted by your Studio Director before the event closing date. There is a $20 fee per request, payable at the time of submission. While we make every effort to honor requests, if we are unable to do so, the studio will be notified with alternatives which may include a refund for the affected routine.

7. I HAVE A ROUTINE THAT IS OVER THE TIME LIMIT. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

When registering, you must select the Extended Time option for that routine. Please refer to the “Time Limits” section in our Rules for maximum allowable times for groups of all sizes. Additional fees apply.

8. AM I ALLOWED TO VIDEOTAPE OR PHOTOGRAPH MY CHILD DURING THE PERFORMANCE?

No. For privacy and copyright reasons, personal photo or video recording of performances is not allowed. A professional videographer and photographer will capture media during the event. Recording devices are also strictly prohibited in dressing rooms. Violation of this rule may result in penalties, routine disqualification, or removal from the event.

9. WHAT KIND OF PROPS ARE NOT ALLOWED?
  • Fire, knives, weapons, live animals, helium-filled balloons, or fog.
  • Machines Motor vehicles cannot be started inside the venue.
  • Special lighting requests are not permitted.
  • Props requiring electricity.
10. What is the workshop schedule?

Workshops will be held on Saturday and Sunday of the PNWTF weekend, specific schedule details will be included with teacher packets available on your account home page about two weeks before the event. You will receive an email notification once they are ready.
