Workshops are at the heart of the PNW Theatre Festival experience, giving performers the opportunity to step outside their usual training, try something new, and learn directly from working professionals in the performing arts industry.
Whether you're just beginning your theatre journey or continuing your pre-professional training, PNWTF workshops are designed to ignite creativity, sharpen skills, and inspire performers of every level.

FESTIVAL ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE WORKSHOPS
Learn from artists who are living the life.
Each year, PNWTF welcomes featured Festival Artists-in-Residence to share their experience, expertise, and artistry with our festival community.
These artists lead two special, larger-scale workshops throughout the weekend, one workshop with each Artist-in-Residence.
These exclusive workshops are a unique opportunity to train with featured artists and experience something you won't find in a typical studio class.
Performers who purchase a Performer Package receive guaranteed entry to both Festival Artist-in-Residence workshops.

Workshop registration opens February 1, 2027.
Workshops are held throughout the PNW Theatre Festival weekend, with classes scheduled across the festival.
Workshop spaces are limited by venue capacity, so we encourage you to register as soon as registration opens to secure your spot!

NOT COMPETING? YOU CAN STILL JOIN US!
PNWTF workshops are also available to performers who want to experience the educational and community side of the festival without participating in the competition.
